Across the River Fowey to Polruan

This weekend saw us take the little passenger ferry across the river to Polruan for our walk.

About 15 years ago I did the same walk with my family and we took a picture from this bench - it's still here guys!

Further up the river is a lovely little place called Pont - there are only 5 houses here!

Chelsea is busy devouring our lunch.

We stopped for a rest at Lantic Bay beach to enjoy the sunshine.

And finally we're back to Polruan - just behind us in the background is Fowey.

Then back across on the ferry for a few drinks at the pub before we went home.

On Sunday we went surfing again! Lovely sunny day for it at Watergate Bay near Newquay. Jamie Oliver's Fifteen restaurant is here.

All the gear, no idea.

Back in Fowey and Chelsea needs an ice cream. mmmm...

And finally home for dinner and a film to round off another lovely cornish weekend.
