No, we didn't see a camel cycling, we went cycling on the Camel Trail. As it was too hot for a walk, we finally got round to hiring a couple of bikes and cycling the Camel Trail between Wadebridge and Padstow, which we've been meaning to do for ages.
We set off alongside some lovely views of the river and of Padstow in the distance.
5 miles later and we arrived in Padstow for something else we've been meaning to do for ages - sample the famous Rick Stein's Fish and Chips - yum! Some suspicious looking seagulls were hanging around but luckily no assaults on our dinner were attempted.
Back to Wadebridge after a browse around Padstow, and having now cycled 10 miles my bum was feeling pretty bruised!
We stopped off at Watergate before heading home to check out the surf, but nothing going on, so we stayed for a laze on the beach for a while, then headed home. Thankfully no sunburn today!
