Heatwave!

Cornwall is hotter than the sun at the moment.

On Saturday we decided to go on our local walk across the fields to Polkerris and back round the coast path.  It was too hot to get in the car and drive anywhere, and I was keen to see how my favourite pigs were coping with the high temperatures.

They seemed fine.  We also learnt that adult pigs like grass but piglets don't.

We stopped at Polkerris for a drink at the pub and then the traditional pasty.  It may be hotter than the sun but it's never too hot for a pasty.
Then we meandered slowly home around the coast path.
and saw this giant fungus on a tree
people who like fungi would be excited by that
