Half term
My parents came to visit last weekend. The dog had a gammy leg so unfortunately we couldn't take them on any long explores.
It was OK though, because we went to Perranporth to see where I work and walk along the beach. We watched Bradley go surfing and had a pasty of course. Though strangely Dad is not a big fan. He only likes cold pasties.
We went to their favourite Cornish pub a couple of times - the Rising Sun at Portmellon, and played lots of games in the van while it rained outside. Luckily the storm was not very severe down this way and their van didn't blow over in the night.
We had a great time - come again soon!
I made this coconut ice cream - wow, it was tasty! That is melted dark chocolate on the top, like a bounty. Yum.
Friday
A day off for Chelsea! We went for a walk to the Gribbin for sandwiches
Chelsea's sandwich is tastier than my sandwichOn the way back, the weather took a turn for the worse but Chelsea's still smiling :-)
... and still smiling...
and even after this...
Still smiling!
Chelsea's pigs are getting big! They were a bit grumpy today, fighting over who got to shelter in the pig sty and who had to stand out in the rain.We passed this funny bus stop in Fowey
Saturday
We went for a walk from London Apprentice to PentewanLooks lovely, but was very windy
hurry up back Chelsea, Strictly starts soon!
Then in the evening we went to see the fireworks up at Lankelly-Fowey Ruby Club. They were very good indeed despite the gale force winds.
Sunday
Whilst the weather was nasty we made a cake and roast chicken from our new Jamie Oliver book.and Chelsea painted her nails 50 shades of hideous :-)
