The Longest Day

We stayed in the garden for most of the weekend and made the most of the sun

The sweet peas are starting to flower and smell great

and the runner beans too after their near death experience at the hands (or foot/mouth) of the slugs

We fitted a net over the raspberries

 That will keep Chelsea out

And we even made time to barrel another home brew

In the evening we ventured into town to watch the sun go down on the longest day

and we ended up in a cafe with a great view (and chocolate ice cream!)
