Johnson Family Visit

After Amie went home it was time to welcome our next summer visitors - the Johnsons.

I'm not very good at remembering to take photos so unfortunately the record of their visit is slightly limited.

We did some lovely beach walks, including a repeat of mine and Bradley's earlier walk along the Gannel at low tide to Crantock beach.
Striding purposefully. We seem to have lost the dog but no-one seems bothered so let's just carry on.

Me and Sophie also did our annual visit to Eden - this time for free as she still had her pass from last year - hooray!
The traditional Eden arrival shot.
Sophie admiring the mini sunflowers in the Mediterranean Biome.
Time for CAKE. This one was a beast - no exception to the Eden rule of gigantic and delicious cakes.
Went to see a T-Rex having his lunch. Sophie is on the dessert menu I think.
Kept our eyes peeled for the escaped dinosaur round the park, but didn't find him because I only looked at the pictures and didn't actually read the instructions on the signs.
Left our mark on the big fridge wall in the Core building.

The rest of the visit was taken up with things like beach walks, car boot sale, Sophie's much anticipated visit to Hobbycraft (they don't have one on the Island) - although this was eclipsed by her discovery of Truro Fabrics, fish and chips and a lovely spa day for the girls. Sophie is also going to help us by using her super crafty skills to make the covers for the van cushions - yay!

Thanks for coming, we had a lovely time :-)
