An early start for a long, long walk

Today we walked across the fields behind Fowey to Polkerris.  We set off early to beat the rain that was forecast.  Here are some of the sights what were seen.

Chelsea learnt to talk pig

We walked through some pretty woods

Came across some funny stiles

And back along the coastal path

On the way back we passed Menabilly beach - it was covered in seaweed from the stormy weather we've had over the past week.

Back in Fowey for a well deserved snack at The Toll Bar.

And then back home to make some cakes!  No pasties today.
