Boobys Bay

We went surfing this weekend at Boobys Bay (yes, we only chose it because it has a funny name).  The guy at Constantine Bay Surf Store was really helpful in choosing the right boards for us, but unfortunately wasn't able to help us with our surfing - it was very rough and we had a tough time getting battered about by the sea.  But we still had fun and managed to get a few waves in!

Afterwards we went into Padstow for a (consolatory) prize winning pasty from The Chough Bakery and a walk around town before coming home.  Chelsea even started her Christmas shopping!

On sunday we went for a short stroll into town and on to Ready Money Cove.  These are some of the boats in the River Fowey and we always comment on their bright covers.

 

Although Chelsea's forehead dominates this photo I was trying to get the stones that Chelsea collects religiously from the beach every time we visit.

Back at home Chelsea made her nan's favourite jam farts (with home made pastry).  These will be accompanying me to school for break-times!
