A Ramble in the Roseland

Today we tried out one of the walks from our Rambles in the Roseland book, which we bought ages ago from a stall we found on a previous walk to Nares Head.

We started out in Ruan High Lanes, where we were greeted by our first sign of spring this year - a bank of daffodils - who'd have thought it in January with the rest of the country under about a foot of snow!
We headed down towards Carne beach, a perfect spot for a picnic with the sun coming out.
Then we missed our turning a went on a fairly lengthy detour. Eventually we figured it out and went back and found the right path, and our way to Veryan. Bradley is very excited to be here, as you can see.  This pose looks familiar.
Then through some woods and across some farmlands back to Ruan High Lanes.  Beautiful blue skies all the way!
All done so it's time for a twirl. Mmm...
Fingers crossed for continued good weather and no snow...  We've been lucky so far!
