Windy Weather

Chelsea's parents are visiting this week so we went for a research walk around the area the are staying near.  We found this walk online around Gorran Haven.

 At this point of the walk we were just glad to be out of the wind...

 

... and Chelsea could practise stomping without risk of being blown over.

 This was the steepest hill I have ever climbed!  It's so steep you can't see the bottom.  Chelsea doesn't looked puffed out at all though.  Isle of Wighters are clearly made of sterner stuff.

Back at the van for hot chocolate.  The van still looks yellow

Chelsea started making a Battenberg cake!  It's still a work in progress but we will let you know the results.  I'm predicting tasty!

Also, Mark, Donna and Mop arrived and took us for a lovely meal at the Barley Sheaf in Gorran Churchtown.  Chelsea has a few days off with them this week so photos to follow.
