This weekend Eden's ice rink opened for the winter season. Friday night was a free preview for staff so we went along to give it a go. No stumblings thankfully!
Saturday we decided to go for (probably) our last surf of the season. Great waves today and a fitting end to our first summer of surfing! Afterwards we went to Ann's Cottage and bought a pair of surf boots for Bradley to stop his toes freezing. It was the quickest shoe shopping Bradley has ever done. Hopefully Bradley might get in a couple of after school surfs to test them out before it gets too chilly.
Getting changed after the surf we saw the Coastguard helicopter out practising, and it came and landed in the field behind the car park! As we've said before, helicopter sightings are a cause for great excitement.
Sunday was another lovely day so we took a little stroll into town to watch the boats go by. I had an ice cream and dripped it down my coat (of course).
We're looking forward to Friday when Bradley's Nan and Denys arrive for a short stay, we'll be excited to show them around our lovely town.
