Wild West

Chelsea went on another work trip this week to London so I had the weather police organise a rainbow in Fowey to come out and greet her return.  It's not what you know...
On Sunday we went for a walk from Carne to Portloe, the location of our second favourite Cornish-based programme Wild West.

Here's the beach at Carne
And this is Nares Head
 I am on Nares Head
We stopped for a picnic and nature-spot along the coastal path...

... before arriving in Portloe.  The house with the orange windows is the village shop from Wild West.
This house doesn't have orange windows but we liked it too.
It felt very autumnal seeing lots of mushrooms on our walk and...

... some truffles in a sheep's field!  These ones are still warm - we are going to make a fortune!
What's this?  We stumbled across another village shop outside Tregamenna Farm and purchased a book called Ten Rambles In The Roseland.
On to Veryan.  Ta-dah!
Before heading back to Carne (this is the view from Carne Beacon).
