Building a Van

The easter break has given time for the big build.  Back to Sussex for some expert advice.

The Insulation has started - foil-lined bubble wrap on the panels and plywood cut to line the van.

Phew, it fits!

Thanks for all the help guys!  It couldn't be done without you

Saturday

Back in Cornwall and up early (well, before 9!) for a walk around The Lizard, the most southerly point on the mainland.

This is the view near the start of the walk - we went camping here last Summer!
This is the beautiful Kynance Cove.  There were some crazies down here in shorts and t-shirt!
 Next stop Lizard Point
Further round and this is the view of The Lizard Lighthouse
Then we had a break at Bass Point and tucked into some of Eastbourne's famous Langham flap jacks courtesy of Jenefer and Denys.  This is where the National Coastwatch Institution Lookout is based and is run voluntarily

We stopped to visit the Lifeboat Station but weren't allowed a go on the boat
before walking back up through Church Cove
we've been here before
and back to The Lizard village in time for a Pasty from Ann's Pasties.
ansome!

Sunday

We had a go at finishing the foil lining in the van... and run out of glue!

Never mind, off to Carlyon Bay for a walk along the beach.
 Pauline!
I really wanted a photo of Chelsea next to this big rock.  Why not?
I was secretly hoping for £250 from You've Been Framed.  This photo will have to do
