Seeing the sights with Reilly

On Saturday we went surfing with Reilly at Watergate Bay.  The guys at Gone Feral were really helpful. They choose us the right boards and Reilly even got to wear a new suit.  He's a pro too!  Standing on his first go and showing us up.  Pasties are on you boy!

Then on Sunday we went for a walk from Fowey to Polkeris.  It's the same walk Chelsea and I did back in April, but Reilly insisted we inspect the pub more closely at Polkerris.
Further along the walk and Reilly's looking grumpy because I keep forcing him to pose for more photos.  I  think he looks like a ginger Simon Cowell in this one.
"I'm flying Jack."  There's the Gribbin in the background which had an open day so we were able to climb to the top.  This was a genuine treat for Chelsea and I.  We still don't know what the Gribbin is really for, it's like a lighthouse without a light.  Still, lucky us!
From the top of the Gribbin you can see all the way to Bodmin Moor and the Cheesewring.
On Monday Chelsea had to go to work - boo! - but Reilly and I came along too - yay!  We went up the viewing platform in the Tropical Biome.  It's 32 degrees up there and so humid it's hard to breathe.  If you want to see lots of sweaty out-of-breath people without going to the gym, then this is the place.  What do you think Chelsea - you can use that in your next marketing campaign.
Chelsea met us for lunch and treated us to the biggest slice of cake we could find before taking us for a ride on her golf buggy (no, we can't see out of the window either).
The event was almost as scary as the zip wire - the longest in England apparently.  I wasn't scared, but Reilly needed a little encouragement, bless!
Back down to earth.
Reilly's visit has flown by and inspired by our kite flying before the weekend, I treated myself to a little gift.  Now Reilly could watch me crash my own kite instead of his.
Apparently it's quite hard to fly a kite and film it too.  The result;  a shaky vomit-inducing video with a buffeting wind soundtrack.  Out of the way Boyle.
Kite envy got the better of us when this guy turned up, so we went home.
Now Reilly has gone back to Sussex and the flat feels empty again (though admittedly cleaner).  We hope you come and visit again soon Reilly, if only for more pasties.  It was great having you over!
